Quote template (advanced)
The quote template is a Google Doc in your Drive. First time you click "Generate PDF" on a quote, the template and a "VentTrack Quotes" folder are created automatically. You can open the template to tweak styling after it's created.
Tasks (formerly "Reminders") that go 24 hours past their due date without being completed get auto-escalated to the deal's rep (or location's rep if there's no deal). At 48 hours past due, they escalate again to the company's first Manager. The walk-up runs daily once the time-based trigger is installed (see below).
Daily auto-run setup (one-time): open the Apps Script editor, pick the function setupEscalationTrigger from the function dropdown, click Run, and accept the new trigger permission. After that, escalations run automatically every day at 8 AM script-timezone.
